NorthEdge invests further £1m in FPE Global
NorthEdge Capital has invested a further ТЃ1m in portfolio company FPE Global to fund its new test centre.
The new test centre will enable the business to carry out trials for customers.
The fresh capital follows on from NorthEdge's additional investment in the business in October 2015, which was used to fund FPE's relocation to Orion Business Park in Stockport.
Previous funding
NorthEdge acquired a majority stake in FPE in February 2013.
Company
Founded in 1982, Stockport-based FPE is a specialist engineering business, which develops bespoke materials-handling processing systems with applications in a range of end markets including sugar, cement, chemicals and energy from waste.
The business provides services to a client base both in the UK and internationally.
