
United Ventures invests $2.5m in BuzzMyVideos
United Ventures has injected $2.5m into BuzzMyVideos, a London-based promotional service of online video content.
The company will use the funds to grow internationally and explore new potential revenue streams for content creators on its network.
At the end of October, United Ventures held the final close for its maiden fund, United Ventures One, on $80m (€64m), surpassing its €60m target. The vehicle received the backing of the European Investment Fund and Fondo Italiano di Investimento; both parties recently committed to a further co-investment programme in Italy of up to €600m.
At the time of the close, the firm had invested €16m in nine companies based in Europe and North America. The fund typically invests €1-6m per deal.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, BuzzMyVideos is a provider of promotional services for online video content, connecting YouTube content creators with advertisers.
It is designed to allow content creators to monetise their YouTube videos and channels by offering copyright and content management, cross-collaboration and promotional services. The company is YouTube-certified.
BuzzMyVideos currently has a network of 5,000 content creators. The company mainly operates in the beauty, entertainment, food, music, technology and gaming video content categories.

Paola Marinone and Bengu Atamer are the founders of BuzzMyVideos. Massimiliano Magrini is a co-founder and managing partner of United Ventures.
