Sovereign Capital-backed Outcomes First Group has acquired Options Group.
Following the deal, the newly combined group will provide care for 700 children and young adults across services including special schools, residential care, colleges and specialist fostering.
Previous funding
Sovereign began its foray into the space through platform investment Hillcrest Care in May 2013, which then became part of the newly created Outcomes First Group.
Company
Options Group operates 29 facilities for children and adults with specialist care needs, mainly in Yorkshire and Humberside, West Midlands and Wales.
Hillcrest runs 16 specialist children's care homes in England as well as specialist day schools, which support the homes. The company also operates the Hillingdon Manor and Baston House day schools, which jointly provide 200 places for children affected by autism or Asperger's.
