Inflexion deals with Succession
Inflexion has invested in Succession, a UK privately owned wealth management business.
According to Inflexion, the UK retail financial services sector, within which the company operates, was valued at £2.1bn in 2012 and has been growing at a compound annual growth rate of around 6% since 2009. Recent growth in the independent wealth management segment has been driven in part by changes to regulation, namely the Retail Distribution Review.
Inflexion's investment, which according to reports has rewarded them with a 50.1% stake, will be used to support Succession's buy-and-build growth strategy. It aims to acquire 50 of its top performing member firms by 2017.
The private equity firm was introduced to the company through Succession's chairman three years ago.
