Sovereign acquires CHS for City & Country
Sovereign Capital has acquired Community and Homecare Services (CHS) as an add-on for City & County Healthcare Group.
The transaction extends City & County's geographic coverage, allowing its management team to pursue further growth.
Company
CHS is a domiciliary care business that provides care in the home, mainly for elderly people. It currently employs 250 people.
The business operates in Middlesbrough and Hartlepool. CHS's coverage in the north-east consolidates City & County's presence in this area following its previous bolt-on acquisition of Newcastle-based Careline Homecare last April.
People
Dominic Dalli, Jonathan Kay and Ed Goddard, from Sovereign, worked on City & County's acquisition of CHS.
