Connection invests £4.1m in Earthmill
Connection Capital has invested ТЃ4.1m in wind turbine installer Earthmill.
The deal marks the largest investment so far for private client investor Connection.
The investment will be used to support the company's continued growth and expansion.
Company
Earthmill is a wind-turbine installer and maintenance business serving small-scale turbines for the farming sector. It provides clients with a complete service, from planning through to installation as well as annual maintenance.
The company was founded in 2009 by Steve Milner and is based in Wetherby, Yorkshire. Earthmill employs 26 people.
Earthmill aims to prevent the transportation of power through the installation of small-scale turbines where required. In line with this, the company typically installs one or two small turbines on farm land. So far, Earthmill has placed 125 turbines, making it the UK's largest installer.
