
Nesta invests £500,000 in GetMyFirstJob
Nesta Impact Investments has injected £500,000 into GetMyFirstJob, the UK-based operator of an apprenticeship website.
Nesta's investment will be used to streamline the GetMyFirstJob website and system.
Launched in October 2012, Nesta's £25m Nesta Impact Investments fund is backed by Big Society Capital – which contributed £8m – and Omidyar Network. Its goal is to back organisations tackling issues such as elderly care and education, balancing social impact and potential returns for investors.
