
Notion and Octopus re-up in $7.5m round for Adbrain
Notion Capital and Octopus Ventures have taken part in a $7.5m round for London-based advertising analytics business Adbrain led by corporate venture fund Cisco Investments.
Notion and Octopus had invested in Adbrain prior to the round and re-upped to bring the total raised by the company to $16.5m over the course of three venture investments.
The funding will help the startup bolster its position in the UK and US markets, and fuel continued international expansion.
In conjunction with the fundraising, Adbrain said it had appointed 20-year tech industry veteran Jason Atlas as chief technology officer.
Previous funding
Adbrain first raised institutional capital in 2013, when Notion led a $1.5m early-stage round with seed investor Firestartr and angel investors.
In 2014, Octopus joined as an investor, leading a $7.5m series-A with Notion.
