
Foresight’s Procam acquires Take 2
Procam, the broadcast hire company backed by Foresight, has acquired Take 2’s camera division.
The deal represents Procam's fourth bolt-on since Foresight backed the company's management buyout in May 2013.
Debt for the deal was provided by NatWest Structured Finance.
Previous funding
Foresight backed the management buyout of ProCam in May 2013, investing £1.8m of equity through several of its VCT funds in return for a minority stake. NatWest supported the deal.
Since then, ProCam has acquired HotCam in New York, as well as True Lens Services and Hammerhead TV.
Company
London-based Take 2 supplies equipment to the film and television industry. The company was founded in 1999. Its camera division also encompasses a grip and a crane & remote head facility.
Titles it has worked on include The King's Speech, Paddington and Wolf Hall.
