
Synova invests £9m in Vistair
Synova Capital has invested £9m in airline safety and compliance business Vistair Systems.
The fresh capital will be used to grow the company internationally.
Company
Vistair provides cloud-based solutions for airlines, focused on digitising information and data for pilots and crew members, including flight operation manuals, safety reporting and quality measurement. Clients include British Airways, Delta, EasyJet, Air Asia and Emirates.
The company is headquartered near Bristol and has operations in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Dubai.
People
Ian Herbert is CEO of Vistair while David Hedley is chief technology officer. Alex Bowden is a partner at Synova and has been named director of Vistair as part of the transaction.
