MML invests in Learning Curve
MML Capital has invested in Learning Curve Group, a UK provider of training services.
MML Capital is reported to have taken a significant stake in the Learning Curve Group, a UK provider of training services, in a deal which enables the group's founders Judith Moran and Tony Outhart to exit the business.
The investment will be used to enable Learning Curve's five-year development plan, through which the business is looking to expand its curriculum portfolio and increase its capacity in key government priority areas including apprenticeships, English and maths for unemployed people and e-learning.
Company
Founded in 2004 and headquartered in County Durham, Learning Curve employs 500 full-time staff and associates. The company offers services to colleges as well as education and training to deliver apprenticeships, NVQs, literacy and numeracy qualifications, certificate programmes and short courses that meet employer requirements.
Learning Curve also operates Learning at Work, a specialist education publisher and online training service.
The company works in partnership with further education colleges and other training providers in the UK.
