Octopus leads £12.9m series-B for Property Partner
UK-based VC Octopus Ventures has led a ТЃ12.9m series-B round for property crowdfunding platform Property Partner.
The venture investment also saw participation from existing backer Index Ventures and new investor Dawn Capital.
In addition to the equity investment, Property Partner's series-B included a £3m debt facility provided by Silicon Valley Bank.
The company will use its fresh capital to expand, developing new segments and products, as well as hire additional staff.
Previous funding
Property Partners first raised institutional funding in 2014, according to unquote" data, when Octopus and Seedcamp led a £1.25m early-stage injection in the company, in which Better Capital's Jon Moulton participated as well.
Index Ventures joined the two existing backers in March 2015, leading a £5.2m series-A for the London-based startup.
