
NVM-backed Kerridge buys Datawright
Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), an enterprise resource planning software firm backed by NVM Private Equity, has acquired Datawright, a business management software firm.
The acquisition will extend KCS's customer base and give the firm additional capabilities. The integrated company will operate under the name KCS Manufacturing Solutions.
In 2010, NVM invested £9m in the management buyout of Kerridge Commercial Systems from Nasdaq-listed Automatic Data Processing Inc. The enterprise value of the deal was understood to be in the region of £15-20m. In 2011, the firm acquired enterprise resource planning solutions firm Strategix (then TIS Software).
