Vitruvian's JacTravel acquires TotalStay
JacTravel, backed by Vitruvian Partners, has acquired accommodation provider TotalStay.
Following the deal, the enlarged entity will have a combined turnover of £360m, as well as contracts with 14,000 hotels in 800 cities around the world.
Vitruvian acquired JacTravel from previous backers Bowmark Capital in June 2014 for £80m.
Company
Established in 1999 and headquartered in London, TotalStay employs 240 people. It generated a £160m turnover in 2014.
The company trades under the Exclusively Hotels brand, which provides travel agents with a booking website as well as technology platforms for tour operators. It also operates Hotel Pronto, which offers booking services for consumers.
