
Bridges’ Alina bolts on Extra Mile Care
Alina Homecare, backed by impact investor Bridges Ventures, has acquired Extra Mile Care.
The deal marks Alina's third bolt-on acquisition since receiving backing from Bridges.
The deal was jointly financed by Bridges and Alina.
The investor supported the creation of Alina in April 2014. According to unquote" data, the GP invested from its Bridges Sustainable Growth Fund III. Shortly after the investment, Bridges supported Alina's acquisition of a family-run, single-branch business in Hertfordshire.

Extra Mile Care is a domiciliary care business based in north London, serving the boroughs of Barnet, Brent and Haringey. Founded in 2008, the business works with local authorities, clinical commissioning groups and private clients.
Alina provides live-in care throughout the south of England.
