
Rainbird raises £1m from New Anglia et al.
New Anglia Capital has led a £1m investment in Rainbird, a UK-based knowledge-sharing platform.
The funding round was Rainbird's second seed investment. New Anglia Capital, a local enterprise partnership established by the government, injected £28,000, marking the first investment from the New Anglia LEP equity investment fund.
Regional angel investors and Anglia Capital Group, a co-investment platform, provided £100,000.
The fresh capital will enable Rainbird to hire eight more people and expand its operations.
Rainbird plans to launch its series-A in September 2015.

Founded in 2013 and based in Norwich, Rainbird is a platform enabling businesses to share knowlegde within their organisation. The company's 12 employees help businesses to encode individuals' knowledge in a cloud-based software platform.
