Riverside invests in Guestline
The Riverside Company has invested in Shrewsbury-based hospitality software provider Guestline.
Following the transaction, Riverside will support Guestline's acquisitive and organic growth strategy as it seeks to continue its international expansion.
The deal was sourced by Riverside's UK head of origination, Tommy Seddon.
Company
Based in Shrewsbury and founded in 1991, Guestline offers a range of software products for independent hotels, hotel chains, pubs and serviced apartments.
According to the company, its products are designed to drive up average room yields and occupancy rates. The software covers all aspects of hospitality and hotel management including booking management, online reputation management, conference management and compliance tools.
Guestline is active in 20 countries and employs 100 people in the UK and Europe. In 2014 the company generated revenues of £8.9m and profit of £4.4m.
