
Lyceum's Access Group acquires Prelytis for €4m
British business software provider Access Group, backed by Lyceum Capital, has bought French business intelligence provider Prelytis for €4m.
The acquisition represents Access's first step in moving into the software-as-a-service market. Since the company was acquired by Lyceum in March 2011 for £50m, it has completed six bolt-on deals. These have included UK business management and accounting software provider DHC Finance and UK warehouse management software developer Delta Software.
Access expects its current growth rate of 13% to accelerate due to its latest acquisition.

Prelytis is a provider of business intelligence solutions based in Paris. Its prime product is LiveDashBoard, a platform for business information used for administrative and monitoring purposes. Prelytis's client base includes ADP, LaSer Cofinoga, Takasago and Johnson Controls. The company operates offices in Paris, London and Singapore.

Founding partner Jeremy Hand led the initial buyout of Access by Lyceum. Chris Bayne is CEO of Access. Alexandre Schneider is CEO of Prelytis.
