
N+1 rebrands as Alantra
Spanish advisory firm, investment bank and asset manager N+1 has rebranded as Alantra.
The firm currently operates in 19 countries and manages several businesses under different brands, including N+1, CW Downer, Swiss Capital, Daruma and Dinamia.
The merged group will manage €3.2bn of assets spread across its mid-market-focused private equity, private debt, real estate and listed equity funds.
Founded in 1990, the firm has 60 partners and most recently held a first close on €400m for its third private equity fund, N+1 Private Equity Fund III.
The firm's advisory business recently advised Ardian's Trescal on the acquisition of US-based calibration service Precision Metrology in September 2016. It has also advised Equistone on the purchase of United Initiators from Vision Capital and Speyside Equity, as well as Summit Partners-backed DentalPro on its acquisition of Italian dental business Dentadent.
