Lloyds appoints new head of financial sponsors
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed Stephen Quinn as global head of financial sponsors, taking over from Robina Barker Bennett.
Quinn joined Bank of Scotland in 2001 and has held various roles at Lloyds Banking Group since then, notably leading the European leveraged finance business and the restructuring business for leveraged and other complex assets. He was appointed head of sponsor coverage for the financial sponsors business in 2014.
In his new role, Quinn will oversee the bank's global fund-level proposition and have overall coverage responsibility for financial sponsors across the private equity, funds-of-funds, secondaries, credit, real estate and infrastructure asset classes. Quinn will lead the teams based in London and New York.
He takes over from Robina Barker Bennett, who has been named as director for commercial banking audit, based in London.
