Oakley adds Charterhouse partner Mornington to string of hires
Mid-market GP Oakley Capital Private Equity has hired a former partner of Charterhouse Capital Partners, Arthur Mornington.
As an Oakley partner based in the firm's London office, he will focus on deal origination, deal execution and portfolio management.
Mornington was previously at Charterhouse for 10 years, where he originated and executed investments, particularly in the media and business services sectors.
Oakley has also hired Hayley Whitehead as assistant director from Rothschild where she worked in debt advisory and advised on a range of sponsor-backed transactions, leveraged refinancings and restructurings.
Lovis von Andrian joins the GP as an associate from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where he worked on fund investments and deal origination.
Alex Golling has been hired as an associate from Morgan Stanley where she advised corporate and private equity clients on a range of M&A and public transactions in the consumer retail space.
