Lonsdale-backed portfolio companies bolt on two firms

Global Yachting Group is a Spain-based yacht painting, servicing and supply company. Its acquisitionof ACA is expected to expand its business in France, following growth in the Netherlands and Italy. Nick Carter and Chris Atkinson will remain the directors of ACA. Following the bolt-on, the company's total revenues will stand at €65m.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in La-Rochelle, France, ACA is a family business specialised in ship and yacht building.

Meanwhile, Avalon, a UK-based funeral service provider, has been held by Lonsdale since November 2012 – the bolt-on will strengthen its presence in the UK and increase its staff roster to 300 employees.

Founded in 2015, Plan My Funeral is a pre-paid funeral plan provider. The firm is based in Bollington, Cheshire, and employs 70 people.

Lonsdale's maiden fund closed on its hard-cap of £110m in April last year.
