EQT Credit hires Suzana Peric
EQT Credit, the credit arm of Stockholm-based private equity firm EQT Partners, has hired Suzana Peric as a director.
Peric will be based in London and will focus on the firm's credit opportunities strategy.
Prior to joining EQT, Peric was an executive director and head of EMEA loan distribution at Santander for eight years. She also held roles within the loan syndication teams at Natixis and HSH Nordbank.
EQT Credit Opportunities invests in the debt of primarily European mid-sized companies facing challenges created by excess levels of leverage, which need additional capital to be injected. EQT Credit Opportunities III reached a final close on €1.3bn, exceeding its €1.15bn target, in December 2017.
EQT Credit was founded in 2008 and is the credit arm of EQT Partners. It pursues a due-diligence-led approach in order to invest across the entire capital structure and risk/reward spectrum, via three complementary strategies: senior debt; mid-market direct lending; and credit opportunities.
