
Proskauer appoints Moghli as partner
International law firm Proskauer has appointed Leith Moghli as a partner in its global private funds practice based in London.
In his new role, Moghli will advise fund sponsors and financial institutions on the formation of their investment vehicles across a broad range of strategies and asset classes, with a particular emphasis on secondaries, debt, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, natural resources, and energy funds.
Additionally, he will also counsel fund managers on carried interest, co-investment and other incentive arrangements, including leveraged co-investments and separate account arrangements.
Previously, Moghli was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where he specialised in the structuring and establishment of private funds across a variety of asset classes including buyout, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate and debt.
Proskauer has advised on more than 150 funds targeting $68bn in committed capital in the last year. In addition, the firm has advised on 140 secondary transactions, with an aggregate deal value of $20bn.
