Acuris is launching a new series of virtual events in conjunction with the launch of the Private Markets+ platform, which is be supported by our AVCJ, Unquote, Inframation, Debtwire and Creditflux brands.

The European Private Markets+ virtual series is positioned as a personalised members portal for our network of LPs and GPs within the private equity, private debt and infrastructure asset classes.

The event series will reimagine the investment sessions at previous infrastructure, credit and private equity conferences, and will focus on the hottest sectors and strategies, with expert speakers from leading funds, investors and advisers.

No sector is closer to the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic than healthcare. The ongoing crisis has led to market uncertainty across Europe, with all sectors feeling the impact. As resources are focused primarily on combatting Covid-19, many providers for ancillary services for non-Covid-19 related issues are feeling the effect as routine operations and services are being postponed.

However, healthcare is seen by many as a sector that is likely to show resilience given its non-cyclical nature, even in sub-sectors that are currently suffering, as demand for these services is likely to rebound in the future.

As many European countries contend with the second wave of the pandemic, the accelerating demand for digital healthcare and telemedicine looks set to continue, and with it the promising returns for investors.

In this live virtual event, our expert speakers will discuss the short-term impacts of Covid-19 on different healthcare sub-sectors, as well as the longer-term effect on traditional healthcare infrastructure and the maturation of the digital health and healthtech sectors.
