Flexstone gears up for new secondaries fund
Flexstone Partners, the private equity arm of Natixis Investment Managers, has made a legal filing for a new secondaries fund.
The GP filed Flexstone Mid-Market Secondaries Fund III with Luxembourg Registry in August 2022. The vehicle is expected to make secondary investments across Europe.
In July, Flexstone promoted its head of secondaries Kristof Van Overloop to managing partner, according to LinkedIn. He first joined the firm in April 2020 to be responsible for expanding its presence in the secondaries market, as reported.
The new fund follows Flexstone's secondaries and co-investment-focused Select Opportunities II, which closed in July 2019 at EUR 300m.
Flexstone reached a USD 322m second close for a co-investment fund Global Opportunities IV in May 2021, aiming to make around 40 co-investments globally.
Flexstone did not respond to a request for comment.
