UK - Barclays Ventures-backed Four Seasons completes add-on
Barclays Ventures has injected fresh capital into portfolio company Four Seasons Group (FSG), a specialist air conditioning building services firm, to support its acquisition of heating, ventilation and air conditioning business JCW for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of JCW will add a further £12m of revenue to FSG, resulting in combined proforma revenue in excess of £25m, as well as broaden the company's client profile. The enlarged group employs 200 staff and is headquartered in High Wycombe.
Four Seasons was established as a merger of Four Seasons Control and Airconditioning and Associated Services Ltd (AAS), a business that Barclays Ventures backed in 2007. In 2008, Barclays Ventures supported FSG in its acquisition of HM Air Cooling Ltd (HMAC) from founder Henry Granata and shareholder Dave Cooper.
Andy Miller of BTG McInnes Corporate Finance originated deal between FSG and JCW.
