ITALY/UK– Investindustrial acquires English perfume maker
Morris Profumi, an Investindustrial portfolio company, has acquired Atkinsons in a deal that would put the company’s 2007 turnover at around EUR 100m.
Founded in London in 1799, perfume maker Atkinsons ranks among the top 10 companies in its sector in Italy. Its annual sales reach approximately EUR 20m.
Parma-based Morris Profumi produces and distributes fragances and cosmetics. It has a direct presence in Italy and Germany and operates with local distributors in 72 other countries.
