UK - Accel-backed Mind Candy acquires Tutpup
Games developer Mind Candy, backed by Accel Partners, Index Ventures and Spark Ventures, has acquired Tutpup, a games web page for children, for an undisclosed sum.
Tutpup allows children all over the world to play each other in multi-player maths and spelling challenges. The game has ove 350,000 active players. London-based Mind Candy develps online games for children. Moshi Monsters, where children create their own virtual pet, is the most know of its games.
