Marcello Bottoli joins Advent International

Bottoli will advise Advent on transactions in the retail and consumer sectors with a focus on brands, fashion and luxury goods.

Until January 2009, Bottoli was president and CEO of Samsonite Corporation where he was responsible for the financial turnaround of the company.

Bottoli has extensive knowledge in the consumer goods and retail sector, having been CEO of Louis Vuitton and executive vice president for Reckitt Benckiser.
