FRANCE - French WiMAX chips supplier raises additional EUR 19m

In its third round of funding, Sequans Communications has raised $24m (approximately EUR 19m) from a syndicate of investors, led by Kennet Venture Partners.

All of Sequans' existing investors renewed their commitment. They include Add Partners, Cap Decisif, T-Source, SG Asset Management and Vision Capital. The company raised EUR 1.5m in April 2004 and EUR 7m in February 2005.
