AUSTRIA - Carlyle-backed UC4 acquires Senactive

The acquisition concludes a close working relationship in which the two companies have collaborated on new product development and technology innovation over the last three years.

UC4 Software is a provider of workload automation and IT process optimisation solutions that enable organisations to connect IT service delivery with business demand. The company employs 250 staff and is based in Vienna. Carlyle acquired UC4 from now-defunct Capexit in 2006.

Senactive offers software technology to handle complex business cases. The visualisation and analysis of event chains makes it possible to immediately detect hidden connections.
