FRANCE - OFI-backed Fondis purchases Bioritech

The acquisition was made though Holding Européenne d'Instrumentation, Fondis Electronic's holding company. OFI Private Equity originally purchased a 65% stake in Fondis Electronic for EUR 15m in 2008.

Chamarande-based Bioritech produces and sells analysis devices for water testing, and also provides maintenance services to chemical or biological analysis laboratories, research institutes, agro-food and pharmaceutical businesses. Fondis Electronic produces portable diagnostics equipment for testing in the environment, materials and the real property sector.
