Miles Frost, founder of Frost Brooks, dies aged 31

Miles Frost, co-founder and managing partner of Frost Brooks, has died while out running at the age of 31.
According to reports, Frost was out jogging while at his family's holiday home in Oxfordshire on Sunday.
Frost had set up private equity firm Frost Brooks in 2012 alongside former LDC managing director Peter Brooks. When speaking to unquote", Frost asserted the importance of personal commitments when investing: "Every business we look at seriously as a possible investment begins with that question: 'Do Peter and I want to put our own money into this?' And then we invest, not in a diverse fund, but directly in that business." His belief in this style of investing highlighted his commitment to genuinely growing businesses and benefiting all involved.
Prior to setting up the company, Frost spent five years with LDC where he focused on technology, media and telecoms investments.
Frost was the son of broadcasting legend Sir David Frost. He supported Arsenal football club and enjoyed playing cricket and tennis as well as skiing. He went to Eton College and then studied politics at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
