
UK - SEP et al. further back PicoChip
Reports suggest that Scottish Equity Partners, Highland Capital Partners and Atlas Venture are among returning institutional backers for a $25m series-E round of funding for wireless communications company PicoChip.
It has been reported that the company wants to raise an additional $10m, after having raised $15m from existing backers such as Highland Capital Partners, Scottish Equity Partners and Atlas Venture and from the cancellation of existing promissory notes.
The company last received $27m from seven institutional investors led by Highland Capital Partners in summer 2007.
