Electra raises £100m in bond issue
Electra Private Equity is to raise £100m to help fund what it describes as “exciting” investment opportunities.
The firm is issuing £100m of convertible bonds, which pay interest at 5% and can be converted into shares at a cost of 2,050 pence.
Electra says many firms are likely to face funding shortfalls in the coming years, which presents investors with opportunities to make above-average returns.
