SPAIN - Talde-backed Biópolis expands its capital

The Valencia-based company specialises in the development of micro-organisms for use in the agrofood sector. The capital injection will also allow the company to expand its operation into the pharmaceutical sector. It projects a turnover of EUR 2m and a 25-30% increase in growth.

The capital expansion should not alter the position of the various investors in the company which include research entity CSIC with 35%, technology player Natraceutical with 25%, Asturian milk producer Capsa with 20% and la Talde with 15%.
