
Deutsche Bank launches PE fund of funds unit
Deutsche Bank is launching a new private equity fund-of-funds unit as part of its asset management business, according to reports.
The unit will be merger of the bank's wealth management private equity business, the private equitiy secondaries arm of its alternative investment management unit, and Sal Oppenheim Private Equity Partners. The merged entity is estimated to have about €6bn in assets under management.
Chris Minter has been appointed as global head of DB Private Equity, reporting to Kevin Parker, the bank's global head of asset management.
