Hotbed, the UKт€™s leading private investor syndicate, has invested ТЃ2.1m of growth capital in Mobiletrails, an innovative mobile travel information and location based services company. Mobiletrailsт€™ Travel Buddy product provides destination-specific information directly to travellers before and during their holidays and allows them to interact via keywords to obtain specific information as and when required.

Surrey-based Travel Buddy boasts as its main client the UK’s leading travel business, TUI, which trades principally as Thomson Travel. In contrast to other companies providing in-depth pre-travel information about destinations, Travel Buddy provides bite-size, important, up to date, location specific content.
