UK - 3i invests in listed Venture Production

3i, alongside ArcLight Capital Partners, has invested in oil and gas firm Venture Production. The total investment of over ТЃ200m consists of newly issued convertible unsecured bonds, the conversion of one of ArcLight's existing joint investments with Venture into new ordinary shares of Venture, 3i's exisiting investment and additional share purchases. Venture is the sixth largest independent operator in the UK sector of the North Sea by gross production. 3i was advised by Travers Smith. Venture was advised by Jones Day and ArcLight by Freshfields.
