GERMANY - BPE's Premiumcommunications acquires adm
Barclays Private Equity (BPE) portfolio company Premiumcommunications Group, a call centre services business, has acquired sector player adm group for an undisclosed sum.
BPE acquired Premiumcommunications in 2007. The company provides multilingual services in the areas of tech support, user help-desk, outbound and inbound services, and services for SMEs. Founded in 2002 the company employs more than 1,300 staff at its Swiss locations in Tägerwilen, Zurich, Lausanne and Mendrisio, as well as in Krefeld, Germany.
Founded in 1993, and based in Mannheim, adm has offices in Mannheim, Berlin, Rostock und Anklam.
BPE plans to back the company's groth into new locations and markets and to profit from ongoing consolidation in the call centre market. This will be driven by the outsourcing trend of business processes and technical support.
