ITALY - Permira-backed SEAT PG to raise EUR 200m
Listed publishing firm SEAT Pagine Gialle, which is backed by a private equity consortium comprising BC Partners, Permira, CVC Capital Partners and Investitori Associati, has launched a rights issue to raise EUR 200m.
The operation, expected to strengthen the financial position of the company, is endorsed by the company's PE investors and all major shareholders have given their commitment to fully exercise their stock options.
BC Partners, Permira, CVC Capital Partners and Investitori Associati invested in the company in 2003, deal valued at EUR 3.74bn.
The group has also announced a commercial agreement with Google for online advertising in recent days.
