NORWAY – Epi-V acquires 18% of Tarblaster
UK specialist oil and gas investor Epi-V has backed Oslo-based Tarblaster AS, a oil technology company, for an 18% stake.
The company develops technology which aims to icrease the efficiency of the oil recovery process for oil sands, a bituminous material which is a mixture of sand, water and heavy oil. It was founded in 2006 by Olav Ellingsen, a serial entrepreneur in the sector.
