
FRANCE - Avenir and Siparex back Sushi West
Avenir Entreprises and the Siparex Proximité 3 fund have invested an undisclosed sum into Sushi West, a fast food sushi restaurant chain, taking a minority stake in the company.
Current the restaurants are principally based in the Paris area, however, the next three restaurants to open in 2009 will be based in Lyon and Marseille. Furthermore, Sushi West plans to expand by opening four to five new restaurants annually till 2013. The company had a turnover of EUR 12m in 2008 and employs 200 people.
