GERMANY - HeidelbergCapital acquires majority in Accovion
HeidelbergCapital-backed business service provider Accovion GmbH has completed a restructuring that has seen the private equity investor increase its stake to a majority interest.
Accovion was founded in 2002 as a spin-off from various business activities of Aventis. The company has offices in Eschborn, Marburg und Warszaw and offers services relating to clinical trials and approval processes to pharma and biotechnology firms. The company is headquartered in Eschborn, employs 230 people and has been growign profitably since inception.
