CEE - Argan Capital to sell Polish juice producer Hortex for EUR 300m
It is widely reported that Argan Capital , formerly the private equity arm of Bank of America before spinning out in 2006, is looking to sell Hortex, a Polish juice and frozen food producer. The private equity house had been considering floating the company, but ruled out that option. NM Rothschild, which represents Argan, has reportedly proposed a price of around EUR 300m for the company's entire share capital.
