SWEDEN - InnovationsKapital injects SEK 30m into Isconova
InnovationsKapital has invested SEK 30m into Isconova, a Swedish biotechnology company, together with a group of private investors.
Founded in 1999 and based in Uppsala, Isconova has its origin at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science (SLU), where the ISCOM technology was invented by Professor Bror Morein and developed in the mid 1980s. The company is a spin-off from SLU designed to further develop its ISCOM technology and make it commercially available as a platform for vaccine development and improved off-the-shelf research adjuvants.
