UK - Catapult backs £1.8m Key investment

The company listed on the new regional trading platform Investbx, which offers small private companies in the West Midlands region access to a range of private investors. The new capital will be used to acquire target businesses in the sector, with a view to listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) within the next three years.

Key Technologies was formerly known as STS International, having changed its name on admission to Investbx to reflect plans to acquire companies with distinctive brands outside the established "STS" brand name. The business is a producer of specialist engineering products within four sectors: Defence; Signals; Switchgear and Motors.
