UK - Alchemy considering new distressed debt fund
Reports suggest that Alchemy Partners is contemplating launching a second fund targeting distressed debt and special opportunities.
In 2006, Alchemy launched its £300m first distressed debt fund. WIth the increased interest in distressed debt and investors expecting a surge in the field in 2009, the new fund could have a target of between £500m and £1bn.
