SWEDEN - AP6 backs Plusvardag

Founded in 1998, Plusvardag started out producing slip protection. Today the business delivers 1,200 products including wheel chairs and electric scooters.

The market for geritriac aid equipment in Sweden has recently received a push with the state-funded "Teknik för äldre" project, promoting the development accessible technology aiding elderly in their everyday life.

AP6, which also has a fund-of-funds arm, has previously taken majority stakes in Swedish industrial Arvika Gjuteri and the German solar cell developer Q-Cell.
